Our students in the Summer School of Xinjiang University (China)
We are glad to share that our 3rd year student Daryn Abugali and 1st year master student Raybanu Akhmetova took part in Xinjiang University Summer School. It was a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange and cultural enrichment. The programme lasted two weeks and included lectures on advanced scientific problems in the field of geography, such as hydrometeorological hazards, the impact of climate change and the urbanisation process. Students also learnt new technologies and research methods. This bilateral Summer School programme is a continuation of the cooperation between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Xinjiang University in the field of geography and remote sensing.
We are proud of our students who are actively engaged in learning even during their holidays!
