Leadership lecture from a professor of the University of Helsinki (Finland)
Within the framework of implementation of the megaproject under subprogramme 3: "To assess the atmospheric air quality of the West Kazakhstan region in the context of sustainable development" On 13 June 2024, Professor Giancarlo Ciarelli from the University of Helsinki (Finland) held a leadership lecture for teachers and students of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology on "Modelling of aerosol particles over complex terrain". Professor Giancarlo Ciarelli in his presentation shared his knowledge and experience in the field of atmospheric pollutant modelling. He presented the results of modelling pollutant data and meteorological data.
We express our sincere gratitude to the lecturer for his valuable knowledge and practice, and we would like to thank all those present for their active participation and interest in the topics discussed, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The event was an important step in developing academic ties between the universities and offered students and lecturers valuable knowledge and perspectives for future development.
