Curatorial hour "Tilge kurmet – yelge kurmet"
Language is always sacred and omnipotent, no matter what nation or country it is. It penetrates and forms in every person with the mother's milk. Language is the soul of every country. Our native language is a precious treasure inherited from our ancestors.
For an independent country, the languages day of Kazakhstan is of great importance, and in this regard, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a curatorial hour "Tilge kurmet – yelge kurmet". The first and second year students took an active part in the event, interesting facts shared and quizzes were played. Incendiary poems of young poets filled with artistic words were also read, the problems of society about the fate of the language were discussed.
"Know all other languages, respect your language," Kadyr Myrzaliyev said, noting that modern society does not limit itself in learning another language, but we want everyone to make a contribution into Kazakh language to be included in the rank of the state language.
