On July 23, at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Science, the honoring and awarding of medals (badges) of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan for conscientious and fruitful work in the preparation of highly professional personnel in the field of hydrology, meteorology and ecology of teachers of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology took place:

2. Professor Cherednichenko V.S;

3. Associate Professor Dysenova R.Kh.;

4. Associate Professor Turulina G.K.;

5. Associate professor Abdrakhimov R.G.

The awards were presented by the deputy general director of the RSE "Kazhydromet" Sairov Serik Biyakhmetovich, the director of the Almaty branch of the RSE "Kazhydromet" Talgat Nurlybaevich Kasymbek, the dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Science Professor Vitaly Grigorievich Salnikov. The merits of the awarded teachers in training specialists for the hydrometeorological service of the Republic of Kazakhstan and their long-term mutually beneficial cooperation with the RSE "Kazhydromet" on production, scientific and pedagogical issues were noted.

In a friendly conversation, the commitments were confirmed to continue to jointly resolve issues on organizing the educational process and adjusting curricula in accordance with the changing modern working conditions of hydrometeorological specialists.
