Scientific seminar

12.03.2020 was held a discussion of the research work of the 2nd year PhD student of the faculty of chemistry and chemical technology of the Department of physical chemistry, catalysis and petrochemistry L. U. Krebayeva on the topic: "Development of new catalysts for cracking heavy hydrocarbons for the synthesis of long-chain α-olefins". The discussion was held in accordance with the schedule approved by the Department for the 2019-2020 academic year. The seminar was attended by the head of the Department of physical chemistry, catalysis and petrochemistry, doctor of chemical Sciences , Professor E.A. Aubakirov and scientific supervisor, doctor of chemical Sciences, Professor S. R. Konyspayev and teachers, doctoral and master's students of the Department. As part of the research work, a report was compiled on the research activities, which carried out in accordance with the individual work plan of the doctoral student. In the report, the researcher drew conclusions based on the results of

Messauer spectroscopy, electron microscopy, x-ray diffractometry and elemental analysis to determine the results of preparing a new catalyst. The research results correspond the requirements of a doctoral student, well structured in content and volume. The results of the research were presented in the form of electronic slides. The research data were presented in the form of graphs and figures obtained from tables and graphs using software systems and equipment. At this level, participants asked questions and had a stormy discussion. At the end of the discussion Professor S. R. Konyspayev wished success to the students.
