Assessment of student performance
During curatorial lessons in the English group "Chemical Technology of Organic Substances", a new Degree of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan was introduced about some changes in student performance appraisal. According to the changes in the winter session, the C + scale is a good indicator, and the new rating is included in FX, which is numerically equivalent to FX (25-49) and F (0-24). FX (25-49) allows the student to retake the paid exam twice and get a scholarship without passing through the summer term. If a student receives an unsatisfactory grade twice, the student will be expelled. A student who has received an F grade (0-24) will be re-admitted to the discipline for a fee and will complete the course in accordance with the curriculum. The changes will increase the demand for the quality of education and, undoubtedly, will help the student to meet the standard of his knowledge and educate competitiveness specialists.
