Independence Day of Kazakhstan - the main national holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On December 12, 2018, a curatorial hour was held on the theme “Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan” with the participation of students of the 301 curatorial group of the specialty “ChTOS”. The students presented a presentation with the main historical facts of the formation and development of independent Kazakhstan. Independence Day of Kazakhstan is the main national holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This date is celebrated in Kazakhstan annually on December 16. The date for the Independence Day of Kazakhstan was not chosen by chance. On December 16, 1991, the Supreme Council of Kazakhstan adopted the Law on Independence and State Sovereignty of the Republic. After the collapse of the USSR, the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic became the last of the union in the post-Soviet space, which proclaimed its state sovereignty.
