Day of the First President
On November 28, 2018, a curatorial hour was held on the theme “Day of the First President” with the participation of students of the 301 curatorial English group of the specialty “ChTOS”. The students presented a festive presentation about the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and presented the main historical facts. On December 10, 2011, the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted the law “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan“ on “Holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan”. According to the document, December 1 was declared the Day of the First President. Thus, this holiday is celebrated in the country since 2012. The day of the first president of Kazakhstan was established to celebrate and recognize the merits of the first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, to the Republic.
