In the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi Kazakh linguistics department organized an international scientific and methodical conference on the theme "Kazakh language and principles of spiritual modernization", dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the outstanding Turkologist, Doctor of Philology, Professor M.T.Tomanov.
