MEETING WITH YOUNG SCIENTISTS

 

Young scientists from the University of Warwick organized a webinar together with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Speaker:
Aïcha Hadji-Sonni is a second year, a full-time doctoral student in the Centre for Education Studies at the University of Warwick. She has a Master ’s degree in mathematics and computer science. She completed a University Diploma in Cognitive Analysis of Learning Technics from Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan. 
Webinar Theme: Key concepts of the affective domain of mathematics education.
The Aim of the Webinar: Introduction to the basic concepts and international experience in the affective domain of mathematics education.
 At the webinar, the participants got acquainted with the following questions:
  • * Basic concepts in the affective  domain of mathematics education;   
  • * Anxiety of solving mathematic problems and international research;
  • * Methods and tools to overcome anxiety in solving mathematic problems
To sum up, the webinar was evaluated at a high level by the participants.  About 30 applicants, teaching staff from the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, domestic and foreign guests attended the webinar.
