In the framework of the project "Ainalandy nurlandyr" on November 28, 2018, an open curatorial hour was held on the theme "Seven faces of the great steppe". This topic was discussed the content of the article of the President..Nazarbayev's "Seven sides of the great steppe", consisting of two sections.

According to the first Chapter - "Space and time of national history" responsible undergraduates Otebaeva Alina and Rahmatulla zhamil prepared a presentation and gave a General description of each facet: the Horseman culture, the Ancient metallurgy of the great steppe, the

Golden man, Animal style, the cradle of the Turkic world, the great silk road, Kazakhstan homeland – apples and tulips.

The second part of the article is devoted to the modernization of historical consciousness. Here, Nursultan Nazarbayev proposes to implement several major projects. They should help to understand the fundamental foundations of the worldview, past, present and future of the people of Kazakhstan. These projects - Archive-2025, The great names of the great steppes, the Genesis of the Turkic world, the Museum of ancient art and technology of the great steppe, a Thousand years of steppe folklore and music, Cinema and television. In this part, undergraduates exchanged views, took an active part in the discussion of each project and highlighted the importance of these ideas. At the end of the lesson, the Curator of the group "Social pedagogy and self-cognition" of the 2nd year of master's degree, G. Kassen explained the importance of systematization of our history and summed up.
