XII Republican Student Subject Olympiad in Psychology

 

Please be advised that in connection with the current epidemiological situation and with the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a decision has been made to conduct Republican Subject Olympiads-2020 in a remote format.

Students of 2-4 courses of Kazakhstani universities who are studying in the specialty 5B050300-Psychology are the winners of the intra-university (first) stage of the subject Olympiad in psychology. Language of participation: Kazakh, Russian. From one university, no more than 4 people can take part, participants in past olympiads are not allowed to participate.

The format of the Republican Subject Olympiad in the specialty "050300- Psychology": a competition of scientific works / projects. Submitted entries will be submitted online before the competition committee. The meeting of the competitive commission will be held on April 16, 2020 at 14:00, Nursultan time.

On April 15, 2020, participants will be sent an exit schedule to protect scientific work online. Each team will have 10-15 minutes. The work is presented by one student.

Scientific works for the Olympiad should be sent by e-mail by April 10, 2020. Submitted one work from the university in PDF and Word format (to check for plagiarism). APPLICATION FOR THE APPLIED FORM should be submitted with the work.

 

Theme of the contest: "Al-Farabi's ideas in psychological research"

2020 was declared by UNESCO with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan as the year of celebrating the 1150th anniversary of the great thinker of the East - Abu Nasr ibn Mohammed al-Farabi. Students can be presented at the competition with the psychological analysis of the scientific heritage of al-Farabi, as well as the development of the ideas of the great scientist of the East in relevant applied psychological research.

The work can be done individually or by a group of students, in compliance with all requirements for scientific research (title page, contents, introduction, main part, conclusion, list of used literature).

All works are checked for plagiarism (the uniqueness of the work is at least 75%), if plagiarism is discovered, the work is removed from the competition. The volume of work is 20-40 pages.

Design Requirements:

- page parameters: top margin - 2 cm, bottom margin - 2 cm, left margin - 3 cm, right margin 1.5 cm;

- font Times New Roman, KZ Times New Roman; font size - 12pt;

- line spacing - single; indention - 1 cm; portrait orientation

 

ATTENTION! Scientific work should be sent no later than April 24, April 10, 2020 to e-mail: kudsandugash@gmail.com, in the line "Subject" indicate "Olympiad in Psychology" and the name of the university.

 

The results of the Republican Subject Olympiad in Psychology will be posted on the website www.kaznu.kz no later than April 20, 2020.

Prizewinners of the Republican Olympiad (individual students representing teams of universities) who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places are awarded with diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan of I, II, III degrees.
