November 27, 2019 professor staff and doctoral students of the Department of Mechanics of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited LP “AlmatyEnergoService”.  

At the beginning of the 2019-2020 academic year, a cooperation agreement was concluded between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and LP “AlmatyEnergoService” and a branch of the Department of Mechanics at LP “AlmatyEnergoService” was opened.

LP “AlmatyEnergoService” is a production and service company engaged in prototyping parts based on 3D scanning, producing parts of assemblies and assemblies for the automotive and oil industries and housing and communal services, as well as electrical and electronic equipment for military use.

During a visit to the enterprise, teachers and doctoral students of the Department of Mechanics got acquainted with the activities of the design bureau, sections of electrical installation and commissioning, machining, 3D scanning, development, manufacture of control units and boards, as well as with the terminal workshop of ready-made simulators.

At a meeting with the management of the enterprise, plans for the implementation of joint applied research were discussed, as well as participation in joint research projects for obtaining grants based on the results of joint research activities. The parties agreed to conclude a Memorandum in the following areas of activity: “Design and development of wind generators”, “Development of dynamic characteristics of robotic systems”, “Robotic arm”, “Development of joint prostheses for further use in medicine”, testing and strength calculations.

In conclusion, the parties announced the prospects for possible cooperation and discussed the possibility of implementing joint scientific and practical projects.
