November 29, 2018, a round table discussion on the topic “Islamic education system in Kazakhstan: problems and prospects” took place. The “round table” was held at the inter-university level. The event was attended by the director of the Islamic Institute of advanced training imams at the SAMK Myrzabayev K.K., deputy director of the Islamic Institute of advanced training imams at the SAMK Manapov E., lecturer at the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture Nur-Mubarak Seitmatov N., professor of the department Borbasova K.M., as well as the students and undergraduates of the specialty religious studies and Islamic studies. The moderator of the round table was the head of the department of religious studies and cultural studies professor Kurmanalieva A.D. who also led a comprehensive discussion. During the discussion, the guests shared their views on Islamic education. Roundtable participants expressed their opinions and received answers to their questions. The round table was held at a high level.
