Everyone knows that the development of modern information technologies and social networks have a great impact on the spirituality of young people. The growing brutality and violence among young people worries intellectuals.

On May 24, teachers of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a spiritual meeting with students of the Koktobinsk secondary school of the Enbekshikazakh district of the Almaty region and the R.Tukatayev secondary school of the city of Esik on the topic "Youth culture and spiritual values". The culturologist, religious scholar, sociologist, philosopher of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science Sergazy Kudaibergenov, Yerbolat Koshkarbayev, Margulan Alpysbay, Beibit Ayazbayeva, Ruslan Sarsembayev, Maria Mailykutova came to the meeting.

At the meeting, scientists talked to schoolchildren about spirituality and spiritual values of youth. During the conversation, scientist Ruslan Sarsembayev spoke about the need for spiritual values for humanity in the modern technocratic era, Yerbolat Koshkarbayev spoke about how the formation of a culture of philosophical thinking helps to solve a number of life problems.

The scientist-teacher Sergazy Kudaibergenov told the students about the importance and role in society of the specialties "Cultural Studies", "Islamic Studies", "Religious Studies". The scientist-teacher Maria Mailykutova shared her thoughts on the spiritual and information culture of youth. From the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, the director of Koktobinsk Secondary School, A.Talkambayeva, was presented with a letter of thanks.

As a result of the meeting, scientists and intellectuals began to visit young people more often and organize such meetings and conversations more often.
