Meeting with the Chief Rabbi of the country – Yeshaya Cohen
On May 4, 2023, 1st-year doctoral student of the specialty «8D2203-Religious Studies» Al-Farabi Bolatzhan and 1st-year undergraduates of the specialty «7M02203-Religious studies» visited the central synagogue of Kazakhstan for research purposes and met with the Chief Rabbi of Kazakhstan-Yeshaya Cohen. “The Chief Rabbi spoke about the basics of Judaism, and answered questions from students of KazNU. Al-Farabi. During the meeting, attention was drawn to the fact that in Kazakhstan, representatives of different religions and ethnic groups have traditions of peaceful coexistence, live in a blessed country, and the importance of preserving this tradition was emphasized”
