On March 3, Al-Farabi KazNU was organized by a 4th-year student of the specialty "6B03102-cultural studies» Yerzhanova Aruzhan, with the participation of head of the pedagogical practice Aliya Abisheva and scientific supervisor M. Alikbayeva, an educational event was held in the profile school of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University within the framework of the University's innovation project «100 books».

The goal of the project «100 books» is to teach students valuable works from the golden fund of Kazakh literature, world classics, to convey the spiritual significance of these works. As part of the project, the school has developed a list of «100 books». This list includes classics of Kazakh literature, world literature. In general, it was suggested to read each work in its own original language. With the selected line of works, the students made illustrations for the e-book from the drawings they had written, prepared audio versions of the works based on the book they had read. During the reading, the students kept a diary «reading fiction». Students record some small works with their own voice using electronic and audio books. www.iKitap.kz distributed for free via. As part of the project, students mastered the iBooks Author program and independently created an e-book.
