Diplomas were awarded to the Master's two-degree educational program "Europe and Asia: Cultural Diplomacy and Geopolitics of the EU".

According to this program, mentors of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science Zhamilya Murat and Tatiana Yachkovskaya studied. The program, which started in 2017, was implemented on the basis of a cooperation agreement between Sofia University.St. Ohrid Clement (Bulgaria) and Al-Farabi KazNU. The project includes lectures, seminars, master classes, a diplomatic school and internships.

The Europe and Asia: Cultural Diplomacy and Geopolitics of the EU program is aimed at obtaining knowledge and international opportunities of a new level. Graduates of the university with a bachelor's degree and English at the B1 level are accepted to study under the program. The duration of training is one and a half years. During the preliminary intensive language school, students receive B2 level certificates from Sofia University or the Oxford Test of English. Undergraduates also have the opportunity to participate in practical seminars with Bulgarian and foreign diplomats, to undergo internships in European and international diplomatic and cultural institutions. The program offers a wide range of disciplines to choose from, both theoretical and practical and applied.

A foreign university offers ample opportunities for personal development and professional growth of undergraduates who have completed training and advanced training. Graduates will also acquire a highly qualified specialist with professional skills related to cultural diplomacy and communications.

Today, political scientists, cultural scientists, religious scholars, Islamic scholars and undergraduates with knowledge of English who have entered other specialties of the university can study under this program.

Currently, KazNU has strong ties with many universities in Europe in addition to the Republic of Bulgaria. In the future, the university intends to expand various areas of cooperation with other leading educational institutions of the world.
