On April 20 Students of the Master's degree visited the museum of instruments in order to learn more about the traditions and culture of the Turkic peoples and peoples in general with the help of folk instruments. The masters studied the musical instruments of the Turkic peoples throughout the semester and listened to lectures from Professor Muftakhutdinova Dilyara Shamilevna from the Kazan State Institute of Culture. During the lecturer's stay in Almaty, she decided to strengthen the knowledge of master students with the help of visual material and held a lesson in the museum. During the lesson, masters saw a lot of instruments of peoples from different countries and cultures and were able to touch and play on some of the instruments presented to museums.

At the next lesson, the lecturer decided to devote practical lessons. During the lesson, one of the master student performed a Kazakh folk song with a wind instrument and senior lecturer of the department Akhmetzhanov Dastan Galimzhanovich showed a virtuoso dombra playing. He performed folk kuis in slow, medium and fast tempo and showed the structure of the folk instrument. These practical lessons helped to understand the structure and history of many instruments and enjoy their sounds and kui.
