International seminar “Gardening the Human Soul” in the framework of the Alternatives Perspectives on Global Challenges
On January 7, 2022, the senior lecturer of the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies of Al-Farabi KazNU Emina Yessekeyeva participated in the international seminar on topic “Gardening the Human Soul” in the framework of the Alternatives Perspectives on Global Challenges program, which is held by the Centre for the Higher Study of Human Rights and Democratic Development & Centre for Critical Thinking (Netherlands/ Canada).
Alternative Perspectives and Global Concern is a network of scholars, thinkers, researchers, lawyers, journalists, civil society activists, and persons from the private sectors, who are interested to reflect upon and find effective solutions for global challenges. Emina Yessekeyeva presented a report about Rituals and Religion in thr Contemporary Kazakhstani art that addressed the ritual, ritualization and religion in the works of Kazakhstani artist Anvar Musrepov
