Оf the program ‘Green Campus’ students of cultural studies and senior lecturers of the department of religious and cultural studies of KazNU named after al-Farabi organized an international online seminar on theme ‘Ecological movements in Kazakhstan and Switzerland’.
Within the scope of the program ‘Green Campus’ on the 21st of April students of cultural studies and senior lecturers of the department of religious and cultural studies of KazNU named after al-Farabi organized an international online seminar on theme ‘Ecological movements in Kazakhstan and Switzerland’. Invited guest of the seminar was a lecturer and PhD student of University of Zurich Anina Meier. On her presentation she introduced ecological movements in Switzerland, particularly she focused on ‘Zero-waste movement’. As well students of cultural studies prepared presentations on themes like ecological movements in Kazakhstan, ethical consumption, zero-waste and ecological lifestyles.
