On November 6 at the cinema "Caesar" Department of philosophy and the Centre for Polish culture "Venzi" with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Almaty in the framework of the cinema club of associate Professor of philosophy Boretsky O. M. held a screening of the film "Sibiriada" (dir. Janusz Zaorski), dedicated to the 80-th anniversary of the mass deportation of poles to Kazakhstan. The event was held after the scientific conference, which was held at KAZNU before. Before the beginning of the film, Oleg Boretsky made a small report on a subject: "Polish cinema in the context of the history of the XXth century". After the film held a small discussion in which the audience, students and teachers shared their impressions.
