With the participation of first-year students and teachers of the Informatics Department of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, an evening was held dedicated to the birthday of the Kazakh poet M. Makatayev. The students showed that they are not only able to solve mathematical problems, but they also have good knowledge in the field of literature and art.
The purpose of this event is to understand the life and work of the poet, to form students' interest in poetry, to develop the personal qualities of students and to develop patriotic feelings.
