Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Department of pre-university training on April 26, 2023 in 123 classrooms of Academic Building No. 4, the international scientific and practical conference "historical science and historical figures: trends in globalization" was held in a mixed: offline and online format, in Kazakh, Russian and English.The purpose of the international scientific and practical conference: to determine the place of domestic historical science in the framework of the concept of World Sustainable Development.

This conference was organized by the Faculty of pre-university education, teachers of the history section of the Department of pre-university training. The conference was attended by about 50 well-known domestic scientists, as well as foreign historians and ethnographers of the near and far abroad.The conference was held in three directions:

1)trends in the development of domestic historical Science;

2) the role of historical figures in the context of globalization;

3) the continuity of history and Humanities in the context of globalization.

The opening ceremony of the conference was opened with a congratulatory speech by the dean of the Faculty of pre-university education, candidate of philological Sciences, Associate Professor S. K. Suatai.
