KazNU provided material and humanitarian assistance to Turkey
2/13/2023Within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goal – the Elimination of Hunger, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University provided active assistance to citizens affected by the earthquake in Turkey.At the time of the disaster, teachers and staff of the educational institution transferred the daily salary.The funds collected at the educational institution on the initiative of Rector Tuimebayev Zhanseit Kanseitovich amounted to 40 million tenge. With the support of volunteers, 20 yurts, a blanket, thick rugs and adult and children's clothing were collected at the reception point.
