The results of The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program 2024, supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, have been announced. One of the 350 scholarship recipients at the master's and PhD levels from around the world is Abdidin Alina, a first-year master's student in the dual-degree educational program "Mechanics and Energy" at the Mechanics Department of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.


The Eiffel Scholarship Program is part of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France aimed at attracting the best foreign students to French educational institutions for master's and doctoral programs.


Abdidin A.N., a junior research associate of research project AP14872287 "Investigation of the Efficiency of Cascade Solar Thermal Energy Storage Using Phase Change Materials in Continental Climate Conditions," is conducting research in the field of solar thermal energy storage using phase change materials under the guidance of Associate Professor Yerzhan Belyayev from KazNU, with assistance from Prof. Olivier Botella from the University of Lorraine, France.
