From 3 to 8 April 2017, at the Department of Epidemiology and Hygiene of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi in the framework of the agreement on cooperation between the KazNU. Al-Farabi and the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education passed an international cycle of professional development on the topic "The main activities of public health authorities in the field of chemical safety" (54 hours) with Khamidulina Kh.H., MD, Professor , Director of FBUZ "Russian Register of Potentially Hazardous Chemical and Biological Substances" of Rospotrebnadzor, Department of Hygiene FGBU DPO "Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Vocational Education", Ministry of Health of Russia, Deputy. Ch. editor of the scientific and practical journal "Toxicological Herald".

The listeners of the cycle were employees of the departments of sanitary and hygienic supervision and control over compliance with the requirements of technical regulations of departments and departments of the KOZ RK, specialists of the National Center for Expertise and Certification of the RK, faculty members of the departments of the hygienic profile.

The following issues were considered:

• ·         Basic principles of hygienic rationing
• ·         Main aspects of food security

• ·         Technical regulations of the Customs Union (non-food products)
• ·         The role and place of sanitary and hygiene laboratories in the activities of the health service
