On January 31, 2019  in the meeting room of the Central state archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a regular meeting of the club "Zhas archivist". The meeting considered the issue of training club members for Farabi readings.The club members listened to lectures Meruert Cherepanovo and GulzhanSydykova on the theme "Contribution of Marat Hasanov to development of archival affairs and activities of historical & political society "Adilet". Members vigorously discussed scientific reports.

At the  meeting of the club "Documentum"  the preparation of the spring student scientific conference "FARABI ALEMI" was discussed.

16 January, 2019 d.h.s., Professor K. T. Zhumagulov, d.h.s., Professor G. S. Sultangalieva took part in the Republican meeting organized by the Ministry of culture and sports of Kazakhstan on the basis of the National archive in Astana. The subject of discussion was the seven-year program "Archive -2025", aimed at conducting fundamental research funds of domestic and foreign archives from antiquity to the present.

International Research Laboratory "Geoarcheology", Department of Archeology, Ethnology and Museology KazNU. Al-Farabi held a round table on the topic "Using the methods of natural science in archaeological research." The following topics were considered: Experience of introducing natural science methods in archaeological research; archaeochronology; Geophysical methods in archaeological research; Perspective directions in modern archeology.

Department of archaeology and Ethnology in order to develop the most important activities of modern universities, contributing to the renewal and modernization of education, improving the quality of education, creating an innovative environment for professional growth of students, carried out academic mobility of students in cooperation with ENU. 4 students took part in the academic mobility. Students of the group AE-61k course, specialty "Archaeology and Ethnology" S. Akkalieva and Beisengazieva B. M. went to study for the spring semester 2018-2019.

Chairman of the National Commission for the Presidency of UNESCO in Turkey, Chairman of the National Commission of the Republic of Turkey TURKSOY, editor - in - chief of the Web of Science, Scopus, Professor of the Ankara University, Haji Bayram Veli Ojal OGUZ read lecture on the topic of the Kazakh research in the journal " Milly folklore "for professors and lecturers at the Department of Archeology, Ethnology and Museology.

Was presented in the round table on the specialty of "Archeology and Ethnology". In the course of the event, it was considered that the historical path of the Kazakh people was inaccessible.
