Ambassadorial hour

On December 5, 2023, at the Faculty of International Relations of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Switzerland to Kazakhstan and Tajikistan Salman Bal held an ambassador hour for students and researchers on topic: "Why multilateralism matters?”.
During the lecture, Salman Bal talked about political views of Switzerland, what is happening in the world, some similarities and features of Kazakhstan and Switzerland in terms of multilateralism, nature, and the relevance of multi-vector policy. In turn, students and scientists exchanged views on world issues. They also discussed the prospects for further strengthening of relations with Swiss universities, the academic community, the establishment of exchange programs for students and researchers, and the implementation of joint research projects.
