On March 29, 2019, the Al-Farabi KazNU College held a scientific-practical conference on the theme “Science of the present and future: the role and prospects of young people in the development of scientific knowledge”, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Al-Farabi KazNU and the Year of Youth.

The main objective of the conference is to identify, support and develop talented youth; improvement, stimulation and development of creative initiative and demonstration of modern achievements of research activities of college students who are able to independently think, acquire and apply knowledge, carefully consider their decisions and carefully plan actions. The conference was attended by 35 students from 11 colleges in Almaty and Almaty region.

At the plenary meeting, the participants and guests were greeted by the director of the college Nurkanova R.O., the president of the Associations of Colleges of the city of Almaty, Azishanov J.N.

The directors of Almaty colleges, scientific leaders were invited to the conference. The work was continued in 6 sections:

All the works of college students were previously reviewed by the commission and selected for protection according to the following criteria: relevance, novelty of the topic, research on the topic, relevance of the content of the work on this topic, presence of personal views and conclusions, etc.

It should be noted that in the work of the sections there was an atmosphere of scientific discussion, mutual involvement of the speaker and the audience in the dialogue. The jury, having heard and discussed the submitted reports, determined the winners.

At the end of the conference, participants were awarded certificates and diplomas, and college directors and heads of the best research projects were encouraged by letters of thanks.
