Film festival
The opening of the Kazakhstan program of the IV International festival of documentaries of the Turkic world took place at the al-Farabi Kazakh national University. The best works of leading partner universities from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Macedonia, and Cyprus took part in the film festival. The films cover social, cultural, spiritual and socially significant topics, as well as youth education.There was also a solemn presentation of a special award to Asanali Ashimov for his great contribution to world cinema and strengthening of cultural ties between the Turkic countries. Students of 6-8 groups of the Department of pre-University training told that there was interest in the world of cinema.
