Educational event: “Amazing world of foreign literature”
On the 11th of March there was an event for educational purpose called “Amazing world of foreign literature”. The initiator of this event was docent of international law Dosymbekova Mariyam Sultanovna.The Professor of international law Baimagambetova Z.M. was invited to this event.
Students divided into several groups. Every group carried out definite exercise. In entrance part was shown presentation with favourite books. Students showed biography of the author, main opinion and short plot of the story. Presentation was very interesting and cognitive.
The next group examined the group for their erudition and knowledge of foreign literature. Some games were provided by them. The first exercise was to determinate title of the book and author by its cover. The next step was to find work by rebus. The third group prepared test with fragments from compositions, names of main characters and description of actions by which other students had to define title and author of that book.
The next exercise was to check not only knowledge, but also ability of logic thinking. Students had to find not appropriate word from given list. The last exercise was about showing the plot of book without words. According to results, congratulations and awards were given. This educational lesson defined level of literacy and erudition of modern youth, moreover it inspire to learn more.
