Educational event "Kazakh Poetry ХҮ-ХҮІІІ of the Centuries"
On November 12, 2020 within the framework of the "100 Books" project, an educational event "Kazakh Poetry ХҮ-ХҮІІІ of the Centuries" was held in online format, organized by A.K. Akhmetbekova, Associate Professor of the TURKSOY Department. This event was dedicated to the life and work of Asan Kaigi, Kaztugan Zhirau and Zhiembet Zhirau, who actively participated in the creation of the Kazakh Khanate. Acquaintance with the activity of heroes-poets, their heroic deeds and flaming poems, which laid the foundation of the idea " Mangilik El " expands the knowledge of students and makes them proud of their country. 3rd year students of "Turkology" specialty Muhamedzhan Begimay, Muratbekova Manshuk, Abibullayeva Aidana made a presentation, during which they were able to pass valuable information about Asan Kaigi, Zhiembet Zhyrau, Kaztugan Zhyrau. The online event was attended by 2-3 year students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
