Scientific relations of the Department of Turksoy and the Institute of Linguistics named after A. Baitursynov

The Department of Turksoy, Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, works closely with the country's research organisations to provide students with a high level of education, valuable knowledge and practical experience. A special place among them is occupied by the Institute of Linguistics named after A. Baitursynov in Almaty. The Institute of Linguistics, which has long-term contracts and scientific contacts with our Department, accepts undergraduates and PhD students, coordinates the organization of research internships and scientific practices.

On the basis of an agreement between the Institute of Linguisticsnamed after A.Baitursynov and the department of Turksoy under the leadership of the head of the department of Turksoy, PhD U. Kydyrbaeva, deputy head. on scientific and innovative activities and international relations E. Montonay, head of practice G. Kortabaeva, advisor of undergraduates and doctoral students, ass.prof. Z. Shadkam, 2^ndyear doctoral students of the specialties "Turkology" and "Oriental Studies" underwent a research internship in the period 14^th  September to 17^th  October this year.

In connection with the "Language Festival" one of the first events of the research internship under the guidance of Ph.D. G. Kortabayeva, an online meeting was organized between the director of the Institute of Linguistics. A.A. Baytursynov, Mrs. A.M. Fazylzhanova and students of our department Türksoy.

As a result, the doctoral students made the following conclusions on the research internship: not to lose contact with researchers, namely to repeat the research internship at the institute in the next semester; support work with indirect heads of institutions; invitation of the Institute staff to our department to deliver lectures and seminars for undergraduates and doctoral students; joint conference, seminar, etc.
