In the library of al-Farabi Kazakh National University collected rare and valuable editions of lithography and manuscripts in the eastern languages: Arabic, Persian and Turkish (Chagatai). Of these, 100 books were written in Persian, 179 in Arabic and 82 in Turkish (Chagatai).

The Research Center " Written Monuments and Spiritual Heritage" of the Faculty of Oriental Studies works on the subject that these books were presented to the Kazakh public and introduced into scientific circulation. Most of the books written in the Chagatai language are written by hand. There is a little information fbout the authors of books, people who copied them, places and years of writing.

We showed the images of the first and last pages of the book, as well as the first and last words. The numbers indicated in the brochure correspond to the numbers of the registered books. Books are stored in different conditions and in poor condition.
