Suleyman Pasha is visiting Al-Farabi KazNU
Today in the center "Keremet" of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was held the meeting with the famous Turkish actor Serdar Gokhan. He has played the lead role in more than 120 films and in the historical film "The Return of Ertugrul" he was Suleiman Pasha. This was his first visit to Almaty, and al-Farabi Kazakh National University as well.
Mr. Serdar was surprised by the scale and name of our university. He noted that in the future he wants to play in a film about Al-Farabi.
Vice-rector of commercialization Mehmet Arslan had accompanied our guest from Turkey. Also Director of the Keremet Student Service Center S.M. Bayandinova, the Director of “Teleradio Kesheni” D.Dyisebayev, deputy head. Department of the Turksoy Department of the Oriental Studies Faculty Kydyrbaeva U., the teacher of Turksoy Department of the Oriental Studies Faculty N. Kairanbayeva who was responsible for the event met the guests.
At the end of the event, Serdar Gekkhan was presented a memorable souvenir “Altyn Saka” from our university.
