The Turkish week at faculty of Oriental studies
On April 16-20, 2018 at faculty of Oriental studies has passed the Turkish week organized by Kazakh National the university of Al-Farabi faculty of Oriental studies department of TÜRKSOY and consulate of Embassy of the Republic of Turkey.
The first day of the week has begun with the consul's congratulation. The chief consul of Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Almaty Yrza Kagan has read the lecture "Turkey and Kazakhstan in One Friendly Ship" for students 1-4 courses of faculty of Oriental studies of department of TÜRKSOY and has answered to different questions.
Within a week the chance to get acquainted with the Turkish culture, tradition, history, literature and art has been provided to students.
At the opening of week there were consul of Embassy of the Republic of Turkey Yrza Kagan, the dean of faculty of Oriental studies Y.M. Paltore, the manager of department T.E. Kydyr, the director of research institute of Ahmet Yassaui N. Simsek, teachers and students.
For the second day there was held the writing competition in Turkish among students 1-4 courses.
In the third day of the week there has passed the round table to acquaint young specialists with manuscripts in Ottoman and Chagatay language.
The fourth day of the week has been devoted to evening of poetry where students have read 1-4 courses the poem on Turkish.
In the last day of the week there was a display of handiwork and closing of the Turkish week.
