On December 8, 2017 within the Green Campus project by students of specialty "5B070100-Biotechnology" of department of biotechnology of faculty of Biology and biotechnology it was held an action on the subject "Protection and Prophylaxis of Diseases of Houseplants".

Action purpose: solution of problems of protection of houseplants against wreckers and causative agents of infectious diseases.

As a result of monitoring by students detailed examinations of houseplants were conducted. On the basis of researches were revealed and estimated phytopathology degree (existence and distribution of wreckers, causative agents of infectious diseases, results of the irregular leaving) of houseplants. The forecast of development of a pathological situation is made, the expected threats of damage of plants are defined, preventive events for protection and fight against diseases of plants are held.

During the action students showed the theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of a phytopathology, abilities of realization of a research on identification and diagnostics a disease of plants and also showed the knowledge and skills in realization of methods (mechanical, agrotechnical, chemical and. etc) on protection and prophylaxis of plants.
