11-14 April 2016 at the Faculty in the framework of the III International Farabi readings hosted an International scientific conference of students and young scientists «Farabi alemi». At the conference were presented about 450 reports on 10 sections. At the close of the conference Director of the International Students Office of the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Huang Dingcheng was made report on educational programs. Following the conference the students of the Faculty Ortai Ulserik, Eskendir Bakhytzhan, Bakhytzhan Eldana were awarded diplomas for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at the university level.

Along with the conference, there was a competition of student innovation projects of business incubators. At the end of the contest undergraduate 1st year Ligay Julia with the project «Creation of new energy-saving systems Window / Screen» took 3rd place.

At the closing of the III International Farabi readings on the basis of university competition «Best Young Scientist» teachers-researchers of the Faculty K.K.Kudaibergenov, N.T.Smagulova, Zh.Nurpeisova became winners.
