Upon completion of this educational program, it is expected that doctoral students will be able to:
ON1. Apply methods of integrated territorial analysis and management of socio-economic, physical-geographical and political processes, both at the level of individual countries and at the global level
ON2. Use project management models, analyze their effectiveness, taking into account the risks of adapting these models to specific geographic objectives;
ON3. Plan, develop, implement and coordinate the research process;
ON4. Use modern innovative methods for processing geographic information using GIS technology;
ON5. Conduct research projects using statistical, mathematical, cartographic research methods;
ON6. To find organizational and managerial decisions and readiness to bear responsibility for them, to master the methods of project management and the willingness to implement them using modern software;
ON7. Based on the processing of socio-demographic, economic, physiographic and geoecological indicators, suggest ways and mechanisms for solving geographic problems;
ON8. To conduct scientific and practical assessment, analysis, monitoring, management and forecasting of geographic processes, using legislative and regulatory documents based on field research;
ON9. Develop a set of measures to solve problems and determine the prospects for the development of modern geographical science;
ON10. Publish and present scientific results to stakeholders and the public;
ON11. Predict the development of natural-economic and territorial socio-economic systems of different levels, in the context of globalization and integration;
ON12. To conduct pedagogical and methodical work in the direction of the environment, applying innovative methods of teaching geography in universities and postgraduate education.
