Upon completion of this educational program, it is expected that doctoral students will be able to:
ON1. Apply methods of integrated territorial analysis and management of socio-economic, physical-geographical and political processes, both at the level of individual countries and at the global level
ON2. Use project management models, analyze their effectiveness, taking into account the risks of adapting these models to specific geographic objectives;
ON3. Plan, develop, implement and coordinate the research process;
ON4. Use modern innovative methods for processing geographic information using GIS technology;
ON5. Conduct research projects using statistical, mathematical, cartographic research methods;
ON6. To find organizational and managerial decisions and readiness to bear responsibility for them, to master the methods of project management and the willingness to implement them using modern software;
ON7. Based on the processing of socio-demographic, economic, physiographic and geoecological indicators, suggest ways and mechanisms for solving geographic problems;
ON8. To conduct scientific and practical assessment, analysis, monitoring, management and forecasting of geographic processes, using legislative and regulatory documents based on field research;
ON9. Develop a set of measures to solve problems and determine the prospects for the development of modern geographical science;
ON10. Publish and present scientific results to stakeholders and the public;
ON11. Predict the development of natural-economic and territorial socio-economic systems of different levels, in the context of globalization and integration;
ON12. To conduct pedagogical and methodical work in the direction of the environment, applying innovative methods of teaching geography in universities and postgraduate education.

- Description: The main purpose of "PhD thesis writing and defence": of a doctoral dissertation is the formation of the doctoral students' ability to disclose the content of research work for the defense of the thesis.
During the study of course, doctoral student's should be competent in:
1. to substantiate the content of new scientifically grounded theoretical and experimental results that allow to solve a theoretical or applied problem or are a major achievement in the development of specific scientific directions;
2. explain the assessment of the completeness of the solutions to the tasks assigned, according to the specifics of the professional sphere of activity;
3. they can analyze alternative solutions for solving research and practical problems and assess the prospects for implementing these options;
4. apply the skills of writing scientific texts and presenting them in the form of scientific publications and presentations.
5. to plan and structure the scientific search, clearly highlight the research problem, develop a plan / program and methods for its study, formalize, in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Establishment, the scientific and qualification work in the form of a thesis for a scientific degree Doctor of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on specialty «8D07502 – Standardization and certification (by industry)».

- Description: The goal is to study the spatio-temporal relationships and interdependencies between natural and man-made objects, the geographical consequences of human activity. When studying the course, mastering the theoretical foundations and practical skills of conducting spatial data research with the tools of modern geographic information technologies in geographical research.
In the course of studying the course, to form the students' abilities:
1) comprehensively consider the habitat (living space) of mankind, familiarizing students with the types of farms in different geographical conditions;
2) to form a perception of the world not in the form of a set of separate natural or social components, but in the form of a clear hierarchy of integral territorial natural and social systems that are formed and developed according to certain laws.
3) to form scientific ideas about the forms and structures of the spatial organization of society and the laws of its functioning at different levels - local, regional, national, interethnic, global.

- Description: The aim of the course is to provide theoretical and fundamental knowledge about the achievements of modern scientific geographical schools and the international experience of the World Standardization Institute (PMI, IPMA) in the field of project management. The methodological features of understanding the concept of project management as the basis of management makes it possible, using practical examples and tasks, to consolidate the key skills necessary for the successful management of scientific projects. In the course of studying the discipline, doctoral students will be able to find and work out solutions as a project manager in a model example during the implementation of projects at all phases of his life cycle, guided by knowledge, experience and systematic recommendations based on world best practices.
