ON1. carry out a critical analysis of modern spiritual processes on the basis of a systematic understanding of modern trends, directions and patterns of development, as well as the achievements of world and domestic philosophy in the conditions of globalization and internationalization;
ON2. conduct training sessions in organizations of higher and postgraduate education, taking into account the principles of student-centered learning, assessment and modern approaches in the field of philosophy of education;
ON3. develop educational and scientific-methodological materials in philosophical disciplines, taking into account the integration of education, science and innovation;
ON4. carry out high-quality and effective scientific developments based on the principles of ethics of science and mastery of technologies of experimental scientific activity, methods of organizing fundamental and applied social and humanitarian research;
ON5. initiate, manage and/or take part in the implementation of research work in the field of modern philosophy, including interdisciplinary, international (with subsequent commercialization of research results);
ON6. generate new scientific ideas and generalizations by conducting high-quality original scientific research that meets the requirements of peer review in a given field of scientific knowledge, contributes to the development of the scientific field and deserves publication in scientific publications;
ON7. implement analytical and forecasting activities as part of the implementation of the scientific communication policy based on identifying trends in target areas of scientific activity and communication practices;

ON10. solve professional problems based on the interpretation and creative use in professional activities of in-depth knowledge in the field of modern philosophy, description, analysis and forecasting of various social phenomena and processes and their qualitative and quantitative analysis.

- Description: The main purpose of "PhD thesis writing and defence": of a doctoral dissertation is the formation of the doctoral students' ability to disclose the content of research work for the defense of the thesis. During the study of course, doctoral student's should be competent in: 1. to substantiate the content of new scientifically grounded theoretical and experimental results that allow to solve a theoretical or applied problem or are a major achievement in the development of specific scientific directions; 2. explain the assessment of the completeness of the solutions to the tasks assigned, according to the specifics of the professional sphere of activity; 3. they can analyze alternative solutions for solving research and practical problems and assess the prospects for implementing these options; 4. apply the skills of writing scientific texts and presenting them in the form of scientific publications and presentations. 5. to plan and structure the scientific search, clearly highlight the research problem, develop a plan / program and methods for its study, formalize, in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Establishment, the scientific and qualification work in the form of a thesis for a scientific degree Doctor of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on specialty «8D07502 – Standardization and certification (by industry)».
