Researches in two direction are conducting at the chair: a) design and development of various aspects of modern teaching technology (project method, learner-centered approach to learning in the modern school, the greening of chemical disciplines, the use of elements of peer technology, the use of elements sparing technology, improving teaching methods chemistry by creating a “portfolio of student” and etc.)
b) the development of chemical and electrochemical methods of solving environmental problems of modernity (the development of scientific bases of disposal methods of hydrogen sulfide - the harmful release of oil and gas industry with getting valuable compounds of sulfur in aqueous solutions, complex processing of natural mineral raw materials, man-made materials, renewable resources.
In addition, exploratory researches devoted to environmental monitoring (determination of water quality, waste treatment chemicals, sewage treatment, and determination of hazard category of industrial enterprises, estimates of environmental damage and ecological footprint, etc.) are conducting.
Scientific researchers are conducted under the supervision of Professor, d.e. Baeshova A.K., associate professors, c.ch.s. Toregozhina Zh.R., Beisembaeva L.K., Ponomarenko O.I., Karimova A.N. and etc.
