At the meeting of the University Academic Council, the Chairman of the Board - Rector Zhanseit Tuymebaev presented the graduates of the law faculty Zhandos Zhetpisbai and Doszhan Kasymbekov with diplomas of the University of Wismar.

The undergraduates expressed their gratitude to the university leadership for the opportunity to gain advanced practical experience abroad. They successfully completed educational programs of two universities and after completing their studies received two diplomas: KazNU named after Al-Farabi - Master of Laws with a degree in jurisprudence and the University of Wismar (FRG) - German Master of Law (L.L.M) degree in German and International Commercial Law, recognized in the European Union.

Educational programs of the two universities are implemented as independent ones. Training for undergraduates KazNU named after Al-Farabi at the University of Wismar is carried out in the framework of training lawyers in the field of market economics with a degree in German and international commercial law. It should be noted that the undergraduates during the entire period of study were also supported by the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law of KazNU and the program coordinator, Ph.D. Associate Professor Arhat Abikenov, who ensured full interaction and communication with the partner university in Germany.

Training under the program of two universities for Kazakh and German undergraduates is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the legal and economic systems of each country, to get basic knowledge of civil and business law in Kazakhstan and Germany. In addition, a German diploma allows you to apply for a residence permit to look for work in Germany for up to six months.
