The presentation of the book of the serial publication «Onegeli Omir» about outstanding Kazakh scientists of Al-Farabi KazNU, dedicated to Akmaral Khaidarovna Arystanbekova, doctor of historical sciences, professor, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the first Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ambassador on Special Assignments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

As part of the presentation of the book, a film was presented about the life and work of Akmaral Kh. Arystanbekova.

During the event, a congratulatory speech and a presentation were made by the Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Yerlan Iskakov, Director of the UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, Krista Pickat, corresponding member of the NAS of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of historical sciences, professor, Director of the Republican Information Center for the Study of Historical Materials, R.B. Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies Meruert Abuseitova, Head of the UN Global Communications Department in Kazakhstan, Vlastimil Samek and many others.

Speakers in their reports revealed the multifaceted personality of Akmaral Khaidarovna, who made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan. It was noted that she is a professional of the highest level, the first woman Ambassador in the history of the country and the first permanent representative of Kazakhstan to the UN. One of the most important events for our country is connected with her name - the entry of Kazakhstan into the organization of United Nations. In 1992, Akmaral Arystanbekova introduced the independent young Republic of Kazakhstan to the world.

Her social and educational activities are a reliable basis for further improvement of the diplomatic service of Kazakhstan.

Today she is also engaged in scientific activities and is the author of many monographs and publications. Her famous scientific works on modern diplomacy are studied not only by Kazakh students, but also by foreign audiences.

The meeting participants also discussed and shared interesting historical moments from the life and work of Akmaral Khaidarovna.

The event was attended by prominent Kazakh scientists, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, veterans of the diplomatic corps of Kazakhstan, lecturers of Al-Farabi KazNU, the Heads of Consular Services located in the city of Almaty.
