Students, teachers and employees of Al-Farabi KazNU support the correct and legitimate decision of the President. The tragedy of the events of recent days, which simply stunned many, should never be like this. The state heard and promptly resolved a number of issues.

According to the results of the republican competition "Best Researcher" in 2021, announced by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 7 scientists of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were recognized as the best.

Teachers and employees of Al-Farabi KazNU were awarded international certificates of advanced training courses of the Swiss School of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management (Swiss SASEM).

The President of the country K.K. Tokayev pays special attention to the support of scientists. So, on behalf of the Head of State, this year almost 500 scientists were awarded scholarships for scientific internships, in addition, 1000 grants were allocated to young scientists for postdoctoral studies. Another measure of support for scientists by the President was the establishment of the annual award "Best Scientist".

Today at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputy chairman of the Ak Zhol party, poet Kazybek Isa presented the Rector of the Year award to the Chairman of the Board - Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Kanseitovich Tuymebaev.

34 universities of Kazakhstan were included in the list of the best universities according to the British agency QS EECA 2022. 

The Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuymebaev held a meeting with the holders of a personal scientific award and a state scientific scholarship. 

The FinGramota.kz media portal, created by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, is an excellent opportunity for teachers and students of Al-Farabi KazNU to improve financial literacy.

At the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a ten-volume Anthology of Abay Studies, compiled by scientists of the Abay Research Institute, has been published.

Additional time for passing the UNT will be provided to applicants with special educational needs in 2022. On behalf of the Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov, the National Testing Center will take a number of measures to ensure that applicants with special needs can pass the UNT in the most comfortable conditions.
