The Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuymebaev held a meeting with the holders of a personal scientific award and a state scientific scholarship. During the meeting, the head of the university congratulated the leading and young scientists on receiving high awards and noted that 13 scientists-researchers of KazNU out of 56 applicants were selected as laureates of the state prize and scholarships.

“Let me congratulate you on receiving high awards - a personal scientific award and a state scientific scholarship for leading and young scientists. This is undoubtedly a recognition of your contribution to the development of science in our country. I express my gratitude for your work and contribution to the development of science of our university and country. You can always count on the comprehensive support of the university in all your endeavors, ”said Zhanseit Tuymebaev.

Also, the head of the higher educational institution stressed that it is necessary to develop university science and introduce new technologies. In addition, Zhanseit Tuymebaev said that he was ready to listen to the ideas and suggestions of each scientist-researcher and provide support.

“In the modern world, the role of the university is determined not only by its educational function, but also by its scientific and innovative function. In many highly developed countries of the world, the indicators of the university's success are the patents and technologies introduced into production, on the basis of which the national innovative economy develops. We must be competitive in the field of science and innovation, ”said the head of the higher educational institution.

At the end of the meeting, Zhanseit Tuymebaev gave instructions to the laureates of the state scientific prize and scholarships. In particular, he noted that a debate forum will soon take place, where scientists and researchers should specifically present their projects and plans for their implementation.
