The solemn event dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of Al-Farabi’s birthday was held in the House of Students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

On February 10, 2020, a round table on the topic «Model of the Graduate of the Cartographic and Geodetic Direction of Modern Kazakhstan in a Market Economy» was held at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management as part of the methodological conference «Modern Interpretation of the Pedagogical Concept of Al-Farabi in the Conditions of Digitalization of Education».

Japanese language teacher of the Department of Far East, Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Samal Borankulova and Professor of the University of Tsukuba Takashi Ninomiya conducted a course of vocational guidance in Atyrau schools within the framework of the project with University of Tsukuba.

Presentation of the 15-volume collection «FARABI» was held at the Al-Farabi Scientific Center of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The military-historical game show «Our History» was held at the Military Department of Al-Farabi KazNU. This event was dedicated to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.
