07.03.2023, 09.30 hours in the meeting room of the Academic Council named after E. Ergozhin of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a meeting was held under the guidance of the teacher of the Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry Ismailov B. A. and 1st year undergraduates Abilzhan A., Nurzhankyzy T., Botieva G., Murat M. The guest of the meeting was the laureate of the youth Prizes of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, Alash scholar Eldos Nusupovich Tokhtarbai on the topic ”Contribution of the Alash intelligentsia to the development of national education".

During the meeting with the author of original works, various monographs in our country, interesting facts about the history of Alash and what contribution the Alash intelligentsia made to Kazakh science were told. Reasonable answers were given to the actual questions of the students.

Despite the fact that the meeting lasted only 2 hours, the students were provided with very valuable information. With his valuable knowledge, Eldos Toktarbai ignited the patriotic feelings of young people. He told how the Alash intelligentsia made a huge contribution to education and to the history of our nation.

On April 20, 2023 at KazNU Al-Farabi at the Faculty of "Chemistry and Chemical Technology" of the Department of "General and Inorganic Chemistry" teachers, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Balgysheva B.D., Ph.D. , senior lecturer Dalabayeva N.S. and 1st year graduate students in the specialty 77M01503-Chemistry organized Zhaidarman at the republican level on the topic "Chemistry and Life" in the assembly hall of B.A. Birimzhanov.

The competition was attended by 1st year students of the chemical departments of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University and the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi. The competition consisted of 4 stages. As a result, the team of the Kazakh National Women's University took first place in the competition.

 The pandemic represents a turning point for emergency preparedness in the field of health care and for investments in the most important national government services of the 21st century. It is known that one of the ways to prevent the disease COVID-19 is the presence of strong immunity.And the maintenance of stable work of the immune system depends on the correct daily diet of a person.Therefore, in this educational class, a "Round Table" was held for students on the topic "Pravda o edenazakaz".This round table was held on 03.04.2023 at 15.00 in auditorium 321.

Students of the 1st year of the specialty 6B05311-"Nanomaterials and nanochemistry" took part in the discussion.In order to fully reveal the content of the topic "Pravda o edenazakaz", the students were shown a documentary film by BBC journalist Nicky Fox on the screen.The film tells how the constant habit of ordering with delivery affects our body and physical well-being.In the course of the film, the presenter invites students studying in different specialties to a 2-week trial period.

For 2 weeks, they are fed only those products that are prepared to order in their daily diet.At the beginning of the tests, they undergo a special medical examination.When the trial period ends, they undergo another medical examination and tell about the changes in their bodies.At the end of the test, they say that the health of all the participants has deteriorated sharply, they have gained extra weight, their memory and sleep have deteriorated.

After watching the film, our students, who took part in the discussion, divided into 2 groups and presented their impressions of the film, drawing on posters using different colored paints.With the help of their drawings, students presented their ideas on how to get rid of addiction to take-out and fast food. They told how often they use fast food and takeaway in their daily life.

As a result, it became known that more than 80.5% of students often use takeaway food.He was convinced how much he played a role in reducing motivation to study. In addition, students were told a lot of interesting information about Kazakh national dishes, the nutritional value of vegetables and fruits.In conclusion, students were offered various quizzes on the topic. As a result, the students said that they were convinced that proper nutrition is a way to prevent any disease.
