International activity (2007-2010)

We have the strong links between scientists from the institutes of Great Britain, Ireland, Hungary, France , Finland , Slovenia, Norway . senior lectures from the mentioned courtiers are given the lectures on the modern directions of science under the special High education Ministry program. Staff participates in the scientific conferences and simposiums.

The NATO Science Partnership Prize for 2007 have been awarded to scientists from Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom for excellent collaboration in a NATO-sponsored project on radiological study in Kazakhstan. Professor M Burkitbayev (Kazakhstan) and Professor N Priest (UK) have received the prize for their work assessing radioactive contamination at the nuclear test site at Semipalatinsk, Kazakhstan, which was operated by the former Soviet Union.
