On February 16, 2023, the campaign "Donate a book to the library" will be held in the reading room of the al-Farabi library, located on the 2nd floor. The teachers of the Department "Economics" of the Higher School of Economics and Business take part in this grand event with great joy.The teaching staff of the department annually publishes textbooks, teaching-methodical complexes and teaching-methodical complexes. Individual and other donated books will be an additional gift to the collection of the Al-Farabi library. In the era of information technologies, finding information has become much easier, but the world of information technologies cannot replace books. The book is the source of all knowledge. Reading books is a complex creative process that makes a person think, forms his own opinion, and enriches his personality. Employees of our library try to promote and popularize this process: they organized and held many interesting events - a series of book exhibitions, library tours, etc. Today's action "Gift BOOKS TO THE LIBRARY" is a response in the hearts of every teacher and employee of KazNU. al-Farabi, and we believe that this will be an annual charity event!
